Beet ice cream has a slightly earthy flavour. Some people adore it. Others can take or leave it. Which kind of person are you? (You have to taste it before deciding!!)
Bring the cream, grated beets and sugar to a boil and then remove from the heat.
Pour the mixture through a fine mesh strainer.
Serve beet ice cream in small dishes; it is an amazing taste sensation. And the colour is amazing too!!
