Mjdarra with caramelized onions and garnished with parsley. Usually, mjdarra is made with brown lentils but on this occasion, we used Puy lentils (because that's what we had on hand).

Mjdarra is wonderful with grilled eggplant, beet salad, stir fried beet tops, pita and fuhl.
