We enjoyed the Motorcycle Diaries last evening. Difficult to take ones eyes of either of the lead actors -- the film is beautiful to watch. More reviews at http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/motorcycle_diaries/

Spoiler (highlight to read):
If I saw only this movie, I'm sure I'd be in love with Che. Indeed, it's difficult not to be, particularly if one goes to Cuba and sees all the photographs of him as an iconic figure. I haven't read Che's motorcycle diaries. But given that the movie is based on the diaries and Che's awaking to profound injustices in Latin America, it's not surprising that the film doesn't hold up to critical light Che Gueverra's violence. Che's methods are only very lightly foreshadowed in what could appear at the time to be a little throw-away line in the movie. While Gael Garcia Bernal is beautiful, likeable and talented, I found Antonio Banderas (Evita) physically more convincing as Che. I am always a bit sorry that some as beautiful and intelligent as Che can't rank among my heroes. But after seeing the Motorcycle Diaries I do find myself fascinated by him and by the history of Latin America .
