"Shultze Gets The Blues" - worth a look

The plotline of this film sounds, on the surface, a little questionable.
Spoiler (highlight to read):
We follow a German salt miner who plays the accordion, as he gets laid off and discovers that there is more music then polka; he finds zydeco!
The movie is very low key but affecting.

Yes, I quite liked this movie too. My only regret was that there was only one small snippet of some hauntingly beautiful music at a sunrise (or was it sunset point?) over a water shot. I wanted to hear more of that music!!

time when Schultz first turned off his radio, picked up his accordion and started to play the American music that he had just heard on the radio.
