Re: Nothing on TV?

As the number of TV channels available to me continues to increase, the number of hours I watch continues to decrease. I think I'm watching about 3 hours a week at the moment. It's gotten to the point that I don't recognize the actors or names of the programs that are being advertised. And if I do ...

re: "Little Miss Sunshine"

Would it be appropriate for a 12 year old boy? I do not think this movie is worth all the hype it's getting. [...] If the 12 year old does watch it, ensure you watch with him. And I'd certainly go ahead if you feel like having some family discussion [...] The thing about this movie that I find part...

re: "Little Miss Sunshine"

Given the responses to this movie, we'll HAVE to rent it now. Would it be appropriate for a 12 year old boy? and a 6 year old dog who likes to watch movies? :yippee: :yippee: :yippee: :yippee: :yippee: You should probably not allow the dog to watch it; 6 years old is too young for this movie. :stom...

re: "Little Miss Sunshine"

re: "Little Miss Sunshine." we almost turned it off not on grounds of offence, but on grounds of boredom :!: :!: Boredom :!: :!: I completely understand that the language may be considered as too offensive for many. (I'm still surprised that I seem to be the only person in our house who th...

Re: Google Earth

Cool indeed!! Our house is a little difficult to make out though - there is a message that "we don't have imagery at this zoom level for this location" But it looks like the photo was taken in summer. I hope the photos don't get too too close. I was thinking the same thing about our house....

enter this query in Google Map: alder ln, gosport, england Put it on Satellite or Hybrid. Zoom in to the max, making sure you can still see the pink semicircle just north of the pointer. The pink semicircle looks like a shadow on some pink area (sand? concrete?). On the road at the south end of the...

re: "Little Miss Sunshine"

he couldn't bring himself to see a movie with such an unfortunate title. I too was a little reluctant because of the title and one of the official reviews on the poster that said the movie was "heartwarming". (gag. "Heartwarming" movies make me carsick.) However, one can safely ...
