Not everyone is keen om fishing. Long periods where 'nothing' happens and then short periods of brutal killing; well..not exactly. It takes U of T professor of philosophy to put this all in context; he does it charmingly in his book "Catch and Release: Trout Fishing and the Meaning of Life". To be sure, some of the book IS about fishing, but most of it is about how to find meaning in the stuff we do. It is a good read (maybe the best part concerns his younger brother who, at the age of 13 decides to embrace falconry and devises a plan to catch a kestrel in Richmond Hill (and does!!)). Fishing aside, I think its a book anyone can enjoy.

Not a Fisher? That's OK; Still a Good Read
